Golf in Joburg / Johannesburg

A number of Johannesburg's fine golf courses have hosted European PGA Tour and South African Sunshine Tour events. The Joburg Open played annually in January at the Royal Johannesburg and Kensington Golf Clubs, is a 72-hole stroke play championship, with 18 holes played on each of the four days. Play is in accordance with the Rules of the PGA European
Tour and the Sunshine Tour Tournament .
